Mall51.com was founded in July 1999 as a web oriented organization. In the beginning any company real or virtual could participate. Over time, changes to the business model brought Mall51.com to what we see today.

It took well over a year to finalize Mall51.com direction, approval for the decision to support only brick and mortar* businesses took no time at all. *Businesses that conduct business on a face to face basis.

Mall51's research concluded that not all businesses may require a website. However, considering the directions businesses and consumers are taking, it becomes imperative that all businesses have at least a minimal web presence.
